The quick connect washing link ensures this machine is easy to keep clean, simply attach the hose and quickly rid your lawn mower of the loose grass and dirt that collects underneath. You will be ensuring your machine is kept in tip top condition, drastically reducing the amount of maintenance it requires over its long life.
As you would expect from a premium lawn mower such as this, it is self propelled. This means that this Mountfield S461R PD is driven by the rear wheels being powered by the powerful Stiga 166cc ST170 OHV engine.
It's easy to start thanks to the auto choke system and you won't need to push and your lawn mower as it will keep a steady pace as your simply walk behind it direcing it wherever you want to go with very little effort. You can save your energy for those other must-do jobs around the garden.
The 46cm cutting width is generous and will allow you to move quickly and efficiently around your garden. The height of cut adjustments offer you 5 preset heights that range from 20-70mm. Ideal in most conditions you can set the height to suit the length of your grass and be assured of a nice neat finished whatever length you started with.
The 55 litre collector is more than enough to cope with your needs, and is easy to empty and features a bag full indicator to ensure you never overfill it, which cuts the risk of the mower becoming clogged up with grass. At which point you would need to stop work and unclog it by hand, a time consuming and frustrating job. The hard top is a clever idea as it minimizes the amount of dust that can fly up into your face as you mow.
